… while I was working at Colorado State University and living in student housing (townhouse) while selling my home and looking for one to buy, I met a graduate assistant from South Korea who was living next door with his family of four.

When I mentioned that he was from South Korea, he corrected me and said they don’t call their country South Korea. They refer to themselves only as Korea because they don’t like to see themselves as separate countries because they strongly hope and feel that they will be one country again in the near future, despite the tensions. I found this amazing!

Also, none of the Church units in South Korea have the word South in them:
