It's insane to me that the ginormous front ends on these trucks, and it's not
just a Toyota thing as the Ram (and possibly the GMs?) also have to have the entire cab pulled if you need to pull the engine, can't be designed in such a way as to provide access to pull the engine.

I can understand that some of that is crash safety causing access issues, but still.



Keep in mind that on an assembly line you have several hundred people who each know their 1 minute worth of individual tasks to put the truck together, with a lot of the tasks even being done by robotic precision. Now you're asking 1 mechanic to master all of those tasks. These trucks will never quite be the same when reassembled.
