Concrete is fine imo. We did a sports tile from snap sports that they said was
Designed for pickleball.. it wasn’t.
It was playable but basically for the aesthetic. So I would stick with concrete or a tennis court finish.
My only advice is if you throw up basketball hoop(s) do it on the end line rather than in the center.
We did one in the middle and always had to take up and down the pickleball net. The next home we did it at the end and so much more convenient.
