I don't think is as big an impact as some think. With NIL in its current form, the 85 limit didn't really do the same
to limit roster size as it previously did. Schools are getting NIL to walk ons, some in large amounts. Those funds aren't from the school so it's been a loophole. All this does is codify that loophole IMO.
Bohannon came as a "walk on" but is getting plenty of NIL $. B1G and SEC schools have done a lot of this. Heck, BYU was maybe the first school to have NIL funds go to all walkons.
