Gen X, not close… parents didn’t graduate HS. College graduate.
Done quite well for myself. My parents instilled a mindset of hard work, disciplined saving, etc that has served me extremely well. They did AMAZING for what little they earned though (and raised a massive family even by LDS standards, even took in 3 more).
