Some people over prepare to the point they get up there and freeze. Obviously he can talk well enough to give a good interview for the job, but this could just be a situation where he spent too much time trying to come up with perfect speech and whiffed. It has no bearing on whether or not he will be successful, that comes down to his ability to coach and connect with his players.
