If it came down to survival and relevance, a lot of schools would do this
including BYU, in my opinion.
Unlike SMU/Stanford/Cal, I don’t know that Utah has the donor support to survive for a period of time without media revenue. Maybe they could rally the base to increase donations or maybe they find their own Ryan Smith-type of savior booster.
I’m just guessing, I don’t actually know anything for sure.
