It absolutely blocked at least 1/2 of my view of the court. I was dreading it...but fortunately, the moment the game started, he took it off. He kept it off while the game was going on and would put it on during time outs, etc. I would have had to ask him to do what he did if he hadn't had the courtesy to do it on his own.
