My son did shots for 5 years and has shown a 75% reduction in his symptoms. Now my wife has been tested and has some strong allergies, but her work situation makes it difficult to get to the clinic to get her shots. My reading seems to indicate that the drops are not as effective as the shots, but are still effective. We haven't approached our allergist to see if he will order drops (apparently insurance doesn't cover drops, but the savings in shot administration and driving would cover the monthly cost - I think).
Does anyone know a place in Utah Co that would take the results of her skin test and formulate drops? The Dr said it would take 3 vials of shot serum to treat her; do drops follow the same pattern or can they be put in one solution?
