I have to admit my tune is changing on this. The fact is, these players bring in lots of revenue for the schools and it does seem unfair that these supposedly non-profit schools are collecting all the money rather than the players who bring in that money. There's something weird about having millionaires as students on campus, but honestly I can't think of another fair way to do it. It's also kind of refreshing to be able to compete for these top athletes now that we are on the same level playing field as the schools that have always (allegedly) cheated by compensating their players.
