On a recent podcast Ed Eyestone said he thinks Conner Mantz and Clayton Young can break the American marathon record.
It’s not going to happen in Paris because the course is too hilly and the weather will be too warm. But the progression they’ve had in this build seems to indicate a sub-2:05 marathon could be in their future.
