I have found the speaker is more important than the subject. There are several speakers whose books have great information but I cannot sit through their classes because they are too dry, Kerry Muehlstein and Robert Millet to name two.
Michael King is my favorite. He is not well known because he is not a BYU professor and hasn't published anything but his classes are packed full of great insights. I have also enjoyed Michael Wilcox, John Hilton III and Anthony Sweat. I haven't looked at the class schedule yet but these guys are regulars.
I like classes in the Marriott Center because there is lots of space and you can buy food, Cougar Tails and eat them during class.
You have to plan to eat because there is not a lunch or dinner break. I have also found the evening entertainment they provide is worth the price of admission as well.
