You're the chihuahua hoping your bark makes you a big dog. But everyone but you knows you're BYU's little brother, which does four things to make my heart happy:

1. The lack of self awareness makes you the laughing stock of college sports
2. The obnoxious insistence of your unfounded hubris makes everyone hate you and your fans
3. The dearth of objectivity makes you make bad decisions (you almost missed the lifeline BYU/Big12 threw you!)
4. Endless meme fodder especially in the sports "dead zone" of summer
5. The bigger they think they are, the harder they actually fall

and hopefully a sixth:

6. Taxpayers get really tired of hearing your insistence about what value you bring, especially when compared to seeing what value you actually "bring," and stop funding your putrid program.

So please, keep telling yourselves and the world you're the red blueblood.
