Suggestions for a trip to Colorado. Wife wants to see National Parks.
We've been hitting dozens of national parks all over the country. My adult/disabled daughter does the Jr Ranger stuff. She has a collection of several dozen badges/patches from our travels.

We are looking to go to Colorado in September some time. We're completely flexible for dates. We're thinking of flying into Denver. (We're tired of making the long drive from Puget Sound - esp when there are cheap airline tickets in Sept.). We'll then get a rental car and then motel it. We're thinking of taking 7-12 days for this vacation trip - depending on what to see. We've already hit almost all of Utah's parks and also Wyoming's northern parks.

This trip is mainly about Colorado. So what else should we plan to see in Colorado? Anything besides national parks? We're not able to do much hiking due to mobility issues - so whatever we see needs to be accessible by car and then a short walk.

TIA for suggestions.

ps I already looked into going to the football game in Laramie - but I need to be home the weekend of Sep 14-15 so we'll do this trip in the first or second half of Sep.

I previously asked CB about visiting the NPs in Colorado. Then I used that to query ChatGPT for an itinerary. What do (Zenoch, Jul 25, 2024 at 7:22pm)
