I moved into Heritage Halls (Wells Hall, directly west of the Creamery on Ninth) in fall of 2000 for my freshman year. It was awesome living so close to the newly opened Creamery. I visited it pretty much every day because I had a meal plan that gave me a few bucks credit that I could use anywhere on campus. Wells Hall was destroyed years ago when they replaced Heritage Halls with the huge buildings they have now.
In the MTC (summer 2001) I lived in a building that I'm pretty sure has been torn down during one of the many MTC changes.
After getting married I moved into Wymount (2005-2006) for my final year of school before graduation. We lived in the SW-most building which was torn down to make way for the Auxiliary Maintenance Building.
It's awesome that they're building a new creamery but it's sad that after only 20ish years another building will be gone that was the source of so many of my BYU memories. When I visit campus I already feel like it's a completely different place than when I was there. I love the new buildings and how beautiful campus is but it's a little sad to not be able to walk around and remember places.
With that said, the Creamery on Ninth desperately needs this update. It is way too small and the parking is terrible.
