I don’t really care about the house value. Moves are a good opportunity to
get to know other quorum members better and help each other out.

There is far less helping each other out going on compared to pre-COVID in all areas. We are in far more danger of not helping enough than we are of helping too much or in unnecessary situations.

Are there some moves where I think “really?” Yes. I did one 2 weeks ago where the family rarely showed up to church but was very consistent about asking for welfare help and made sure they got help for the move planned out well in advance. But they were very appreciative of all who showed up to the move and my hope is maybe that will be an impetus in them becoming more active in their next ward.

People need to quit whining so much about service stuff in what is supposed to be a community where we help and minister to each other and are supposed to get to know one another’s biggest needs and challenges.
