1. The absolute most important factor is which system your friends and family are on. Most games these days are cross play and Xbox users can play PS users, but notably EA CFB25’s online dynasty is not cross play. So if you have any friends or family who you’d like to play with, get the same system they are on.

2. If #1 doesn’t matter, and you aren’t much of a gamer, Xbox is great because of game pass. You’ll need a subscription to play online, and with that sub you’ll be able to download hundreds of other games for “free.”

3. Xbox Series S is cheaper than PS5. PS5 is more powerful (similar to Xbox Series X), but if you aren’t much of a gamer than I seriously doubt you care.

TL;DR: if you don’t have friends you want to play with, get an Xbox.
