The Uber eats driver finally got in touch with them and let them know where he dropped it off. Super awkward. They wanted us to pay for it. They wouldn’t share the number of the person who ordered it or their full name so we could try Facebook or something. Or perhaps someone was treating us to a surprise (we ranked that as a low probability).
We hit up all our neighbors and a house about a half mile away that is often confused with ours in the US Mail. All that due diligence before considering this food a waste and lost cause.
Then Uber eats eats guides strangers to my doorstep? Lame. Especially after not legit us try to contact them over the phone lol.
