10-15 years isn't nearly long enough. The average age of a car on the road in
the US today is 12.6 years, and that number is growing.

It's even growing. And only a tiny fraction of the cars being sold now have the capability to run autonomously.

EDIT: realize you might be saying that it will take that long once the majority of cars being sold are autonomous.
