has had a couple ear infection and has been grounded from flying. At her last appointment with the regular doctor she said the ear infection seems to be gone but as she still has pain in the ear and some pressure issues she won't be cleared to fly until she sees an ENT.
I'm thinking she may have problems with her Eustachian tubes. What could be possible solutions? I've read about surgery using balloons to increase the Eustachian tubes diameter but would that be a long term solution so she could continue to fly?
What about tubes in the eardrum? Could that be a viable long term solution?
Worried for my daughter as this was her dream job and she's worried she may not be able to do it with ear pain / issues.
Thanks.
