This is why I posted like I did.
It's to the BYU administration and current BYU football coaches.
Stop being too "soft" and "nice" on the field. There is a difference of being cordial and helping opponents. I'm merely stating the very obvious for the past 15 years of BYU football.
Be technically sound in all you do
Be physical on the point of attack
Beat your opponent, by being applying technique
Online has been the most lazy of all positions last year. I blame that on 2 things. 1. A cheap BYU administration and 2. A sorry O line coach.
What will the excuse be this year BYU?
Do NOT play to the level of the weakest B12 opponents, like you have been doing as an independent.
Play to WIN, PERIOD.
This is football, own it, dominate the person in front of you.
And BYU offense, pull your dumb head out and attack using ALL OFFENSIVE TOOLS at your disposal.
Don't give the defense time to "recoup", attack untill they cry "uncle".
Play the underdog ALL season, but darn it FIGHT to win.
And coaches, if you say you love the players, then make sure they not only work "hard", but work "smart".
Kids, man up or ride the bench. And coaches don't be afraid to pull players. Time for these kids to face reality.
No entitlement here kids. Better earn it and dominate.
The Cougar stare is just that, to "strike" fear in opponents. Similarly how ALL blacks do the Haka prior to each rugby match.
Forget the media and what they write, show us fans what the product is on the field of play.
Enough of playing "soft ", time is now to step it up and dominate.
Win or go home, simple as that.
