that is a hypothetical and it would seem they are taking it seriously. They very well might have done the same if he had gone undefeated.
I just remember thinking OSU showed character firing successful Jim Tressel (I respected tressel and dislike OSU a lot) over tattoo-gate but then they swept Zach Smith's wife-beating under the rug and covered for Urban Meyer (whom I do not respect and don't think I ever have) and lost that respect for OSU
