schedule last year. beat texas. was the best team in the country through 6 weeks but didn’t have the depth to keep it that way. returning a ton of starters including the most defensive starters in the SEC and the depth is there.

oh and IIRC both of venables first two seasons were better than sarks first two seasons with a bigger jump as well
