Chrome syncs up across all platforms so using Chrome carries bookmarks passwords etc. Safari is just a poor browser

You can also setup syncing between Chrome (desktop) and Safari (iPhone)

I use Safari on my iPhone & iPad... and Chrome on my Mac. Zero issues..
