I did not--that was the second bridge over the San Joaquin that I had to detour around but
This one was an easy detour following the road down from Red's Meadows.

Where is this bridge exactly? I haven't heard of another bridge outage on the JMT.

Any idea why the PCT and the JMT deviate there? Looks like they come back together at Thousand Island Lake.

I do know that several PCT hikers took the JMT as an alternate. I'm not sure whether that would be allowed
