Are there any good home-made solutions for killing wasps? Anything you can put into a bowl of water, leave on the back
porch, and count on them to drink and take back to the nest to kill all the others?

Just get the wasp spray. The kind that shoots like 10 feet. Spray and run.

Or better yet, post the video of it. Sometimes I miss AFV.

Problem is that I think the nest is in a place I don't have line of sight into to shoot a spray

Where is it?

I live in a 6-plex of townhomes. The nest is either somewhere on the roof in or above the rain gutters, or it's around

You're only play are the traps then. They worked for me.

Those cans run out of spray really fast. But yeah, it’s liberating to watch wasps fall out of the air and die.

It's almost like target practice. It's great

My solution only gets a few at a time. We sometimes get a few during the summer

The internet stuff on that is sort of elaborate. I no longer waste money on plastic wasp traps, though.

I've had pretty good luck with the plastic wasp traps.

I had wasps in a bird feeder once. I heard they are inactive at night, so

Spray it with soapy water. Promise it works like a charm.

Gas in a cup over the nest.

Follow the man of the cloth. He used cat food. I use bloody meat. It works while the meat is fresh.
