Got it bad one year in Georgia when I was in the military. Went out to the field for a day or two and must have been in
a bad area for chiggers.
I counted how many bites I had on both legs and up to my waist. I think the total was ~100 bites. It was incredibly miserable and those things lasted much longer than mosquito bites.
Then they ooze and puss all over too. Nasty, nasty, nasty.
