Feel the Freon lines coming to/from the condenser. Are they cold?

If ambient temperature, Freon might have leaked out, or compressor is locked up.

If cold, evaporator is probably iced over

Mine did that last week. Freon. No longer fixing Freon. $8,000 for new AC.
