Just had a positive FIT test last week. Waiting for a call back to schedule a colonoscopy. I had no obvious issues. I
requested it because I have a 46 year old brother who is 10 years older than me with stage 3 colon cancer and on his 10th chemo treatment.

My sample came back positive/abnormal despite there being no obvious signs of blood in my stool.

I am not trying to be in denial, but I know the likelihood of something being wrong at age 36 is low; I would be lying if I said the potential of cancer isn't in the back of my mind though. I tend to expect the worst but hope for the best in circumstances like this.
