If you have no particular affiliation with the Oilers or Panthers...pull for the
Oilers, because of this guy:
Derek Ryan. A 37 year old third line center for Edmonton. He joined the church a number of years ago, and is active in his ward in Washington State. Great guy. He's done a few stake firesides over the years and is very giving of his time.
The NHL is not a league that often has many LDS players. There's been a few though. Bill Lindsay (NHL from 1992-2004) was another one I met a few times.
