I was reading the BYU magazine published by Jeff Hansen and he has Choe Bryant-Strothers, a UCLA player currently in the portal, penciled in at LB ( #2 ) on the depth chart. He’s projecting he’ll sign with BYU after his visit.

It’s the first I’m hearing about him. He played ILB, OLB and DE at UCLA, I read he didn’t play much at UCLA because they had him at a different position every year. He was rated an 88 per 247 back in 2021, he’ll be a RS JR this season. Apparently he took a visit with BYU back in 2020.

BYU could definitely use another edge rusher or LB for depth. Maybe he can be a starter next season.

Does anybody know if he took a visit yet? What’s his connection to BYU?
