Reese?) who thinks people are tuning in to see her are wrong. If not for the ongoing coverage of Clark being "targeted" by other players (not sure I believe it, and either way I don't care), then WNBA games would get their 30 second spot at the end of SportsCenter and it would be the end of that.

The WNBA office has a bit of a conundrum on their hands. On one side, Clark is easily their most valuable asset at this point in time so it seems protecting her would be a high priority. On the other side, the WNBA can't do anything because every player in the WNBA not on Clark's team would get pissed if the WNBA protected her and they'd have internal strife.

Personally I'd like to see Clark keep getting beat up to the point where she walks away, then the WNBA dies and the players have no one but themselves to blame. Also then we'd stop getting WNBA games on tv and we could get something more interesting like the Westminster Dog show reruns or AAC track and field.
