In this situation, if both coaches and Waterman could go back and make those decisions knowing what they know now, I would be surprised if the outcome was the same. Both parties may have walked away wishing things had gone a little differently. Just because Waterman is gone, that doesn't mean that KY didn't want him or that he didn't want BYU. Sometimes things just don't quite work out like you think they will.
