His teams usually struggled in March Madness. It's the main reason why he and Kentucky mutually agreed to part ways because the fanbase and admins were tired of the March flubs. Winning in March is really dang hard. If you've got a good mix of continuity plus talented newcomers (whether that's 1 and dones or transfers)...just like UCONN had then that's a pretty good formula if you can coach them to play together.
