Both of my parents attended BYU, but my father transferred to the school up north for certain reasons. I grew up attending BYU games, football and basketball. Most of the family I grew up with, at least those I liked, were BYU fans. I was drawn to the Cougs, taught in the ways of BYU, but I didn’t believe.
For some reason I rebelled and chose to not only stop supporting BYU, but cheering against them and I became a Yewt. Fortunately I was able to go on a mission and I fully intended to attend the school up north. However, I ended up in Provo. I liked it there. I purchased the all sport pass to attend games but I wasn’t a fan. Then an angel appeared and his name was Luke. He was a marvelous wonder and reminded me of what I had learned before about LaVell, Steve, Ty and others. I repented and from then on became a true Cougar and have gone about trying to teach my children and bring others to the correct path.
Peace be upon you all.
