I live out in the middle of nowhere Wyoming, and Lagoon is so peopley. I teach middle school and coach basketball and every year I bring the 8th graders to Utah for 3 days and do some cool stuff the these ranch/res kids wouldn’t normally ever get to do.

I am getting off point. I people watch, and a lot of people at lagoon seem pretty sketchy.

Today on the sky ride though I see this lady and daughter rocking matching BYU hats and in the car right behind a guy and his son in the same BYU hats. I am not normally a guy to talk to strangers but I was proud of him for representing the Y, and plus we were going different directions so no real big deal. No sooner did the words. Go cougars, nice hats, leave my mouth when the sky ride stopped.

I felt pressured to keep talking so I mumbled awkward stuff then realized he was looking the other direction, and thankfully after a full minute that felt like a year, the ride started.

I don’t know how you people in big cities live with that level of awkwardness. It has been fun, but I look forward to being home.
