Topic because of his knee injuries. Some team in the top 3 might talk themselves into him having one of the highest ceilings in the draft, or his injury history might scare teams off and drop him closer #9 or #10.
Maybe Kel’el Ware. He’s going to get to team workouts and some team will fall in love with his size and athleticism, he’ll show off better shooting than what teams thought, and front offices will have visions of Derrick Lively fresh in their heads after Dallas’ long playoff run.
I think the answer might end up being Collier. His game is better equipped for the pro game than college. He’s going to shine against other guards in workouts because of his strength and pacing. In a weird draft there might be a GM in the 9-12 range that is convinced Collier has a set role in an NBA rotation, while a host of GMs might be too scared off by his inconsistent shooting form and results.
