If it's a wax issue, don't use a Q-tip, it could damage the bones in the middle
ear.

Use a blow dryer to dry it out. DO NOT push a Q-Tip into the ear.

I've had this a couple of times. It's ear wax and a doctor can clean it out.

No pain. Can hear some, it’s just very muffled.

Probably wax. Can try debrox and a syringe or go get it flushed
