Last year's schedule might have been tougher, but this year's is pretty rough.
The OOC doesn't seem that hard off the bat, but SMU went 11-3 last year, and their rich boosters are going nuts for NIL. Wyoming was often a gimme game in the MWC, but they went 9-4 last year (although I don't know what they have coming back). Plus they're both on the road for some reason.
Heck, even the FCS game is a solid team (beat FBS NIU, made the playoffs, and won a game against Nicholls before losing to Idaho).
Then the Big 12 schedule is at least middling.
KSU is good.
@ Baylor probably sucks, but they have a tendency to go from worst to first.
Arizona is good.
OKST is good.
@ UCF is going to be tough.
@ Utah is good.
KU is good.
@ ASU sucks.
Houston sucks.
BYU does miss some of the middle-of-the road teams (WVU, Cincy, CU) but they get all of the top ones (KSU, OKST, Utah, KU) although mostly at home.
