If we hadn't built a city directly by the ocean, sorry, Gulf of Mexico, that was
below sea level, there wouldn't be much that particularly stands out about Hurricane Katrina.
Also, seems to be there's more to predicting Hurricanes than just Atlantic temps. The climate guys have been telling us the Ocean has done nothing but warm over the last 20 years. The apocalyptic hurricane forecasts each and every year are a little stale at this point.
