Came across this 20 minute abbreviation of the Wasington State @ BYU game from 1990 when looking at something on youtube and I had to watch it. This was the week after BYU beat #1 Miami. Classic trap game. BYU's D was super soft and sluggish in the first half and BYU got down big. In fairness to the BYU offense, Matsuzaki dropped two 50 yard passes, one of them at the goalline, so the score likely would have been within about one TD at the half if the 1st half had played out differently with those catches. In the second half BYU's D and special teams were playing inspired ball. Then the offense puts together what I believe is the highest scoring quarter in BYU history. It may have been the best single quarter of play for BYU ever, even arguably better than vs UCLA in 2008. The only blemish is a 50 yard completion by WSU that led to a short TD.
