There were 3 of us boys. He was the oldest and I was the youngest. The one in the middle read the book and said to me, "You didn't like him much growing up did you?" He should have known. The stuff he did to the both of us because he was bigger and stronger.

He's a blue-collar guy and I went to college and got a degree in accounting. He likes to shoot, hunt and fish. I did growing up, but found I didn't enjoy those events whatsoever, outside of getting outside.

While we were growing up, he told me that if I held up my BB gun straight in the air, no BB would come out and I should put my finger over the barrel to test it. I did. Took tweezers to get the BB that was imbedded into my finger tip.

He told me that while plugging in some device, if I touched the metal part of the of the plug while I was pushing it in the socket that it would tickle me. Tickle me heck, it shocked me and knocked me off my feet.

I was riding a mini-bike and I asked him how to make it slow down. He told me to ram the speed lever all the way forward. I was in our driveway heading for the busy highway and needed to slow it down and stop. I rammed the lever forward, which sent the bike on a mad dash toward the road. I had to lay it down on its side not to go right into the busy traffic and be run over. The muffler on the side of the bike landed on the side of my leg branding a circular burn that showed the name of the muffler company.

Yeah, we're quite different. Beside the shooting, hunting and fishing, he likes to gamble, watch porn, cuss, drink, and smoke. I don't do any of those things (okay, maybe a swear word here and there, but usually not out loud), so we are quite different.

I our adulthood, he read my book and reading it greatly changed our relationship. He realized what he had done, apologized and we've been very close ever since. I love the guy.
