My son played AAU ball with him spring and summer of 8th grade. Was big then
I think 6'8" or 6'9" at that point. Strong, big, a little slow, but very difficult to handle his size.
Hopefully he can be a good fit in the program and keep developing.

Right now he's a poor man's Nate Austin. If KY and Burgess can help him develop

Awkward & slow, but surprisingly skilled. His motor maybe makes him worth developing.

The good news is that most HS kids with that kind of body are very awkward at that age. It's possible now that he's had

Always good to have a big bodied 6'11" guy to practice against

Why are we sweating over a walk on just off his mission. If BYU ever needs him

Seeing how many of Pope's walk-ons KY accepts is at least slightly interesting news.

Probably. I don't know what his criteria for walk-ons are. If he's looking for work ethic & life-balance

This is a fan board. Nobody is sweating, just curious about who's wearing blue.

Reminds me of Kolby Lee more than Nate Austin

Yes, below-the-rim big with a nice shooting touch.
