He swung for the fences and had a lot of misses, but was able to convince some good players to come even when BYU was in the WCC. I think it will be hard to compare because it seems BYU is making a clear investment in their basketball program, plus having the Big12 (I recognize that once it was announced it was something that Mark Pope could use).
Kevin strikes me as very confident in his ability to be a good coach and although not as expressive I think it will come across clearly to recruits. He also seems very driven and will do the work required of recruiting.
