There was only one line open. The store manager comes and opens another line. These 3 teenage girls that had not been in line, but came up just as she was opening the line stepped right in. I was back about 5 others in the former line. I'm not shy, so I spoke up and I said, "Maam. Don't you think that those in line should step up first. Those individuals weren't even in line."
Her response. "Sir, you can just stay in your line and I'll handle this."
I responded that it wasn't fair. She said, "Get out of my store right now. Go on. Get out."
Honestly, I was in a bit of shock. Last I knew, a manager should be a little customer oriented. I found out she was the manager when I asked to speak to the manger. 2nd shock. No patience, no common sense, it was her way or the highway.
I'm sorry, but there should never be a manager that is that rude and toss you for just expressing what common sense should have told her. Your story reminds me of that individual. I was determined to call the HQ, but I landed on that it was punishment enough that she worked for Dollar General and I let it go. It just irked me.
