The NHL is a fun league to follow and hockey is such a fun sport. I encourage everyone to dive in head first into supporting the new NHL franchise.
I've been a long-time hockey fan without a team until Seattle got the Kraken and now I've been a season ticket holder for the Kraken since the beginning (3 whole seasons!). Being a Utah native, now I'm excited to have a second team to support (second to the Kraken).
The Yotes have had on-ice success at times, even if their ownership/arena situation has been a mess for a long time.
The organization/team has been rebuilding for a while now, and there are a lot of interesting young prospects to be excited about if you're a fan. Not only that, but the team has a lot of projected cap space and could really add some solid free agents if Ryan Smith can sell them on a vision for the team in SLC.
