To LSUcougar92's point, Angel Reese has been subjected to a firestorm of
criticism. Considering she is a 21 year-old student athlete, it is really horrifying to consider what she has had to endure.

Yes. It is true she started it.
Yes. It is true she is not a polished PR person.
Yes. It is true she sometimes provokes anger.
Yes. It is true she has profited because of her notoriety.
Yes. The world has reasons to demonize her. But the world is WRONG and their reasons are foolish.

Angel Reese probably never dreamed she would have triggered the firestorm she did.
She is young and immature and along with that comes a little bit of arrogance. She should be given the opportunity to grow and learn.

It is also true she is wonderfully talented and gifted physically.
That talent doesn't make Angel Reese an inhuman gladiator.
Just because someone is athletic, talented and perhaps wealthy and spoiled doesn't mean we should pile on and criticize her.
If anyone should stand up for Angel Reese it should be us, especially with all her imperfections.

We shouldn't be the ones overly criticizing her or demonizing her for emphasizing she is a victim. She is young. We should NOT join the masses criticizing her coach Kim Mulkey. Angel Reese spoke a bit brashly about wanting to be a role model for young women. She is trying. Angel Reese has much to learn about what that means, but unlike most of us, SHE WILL have the opportunity. Pray for her!

LSUcougar92 is right!

Angel Reese should have a bright future ahead of her and I will be cheering for Angel Reese to learn.

Tonight I was also cheering for Caitlin Clark. Caitlin Clark is a multi-generational talent and is fun to watch.

I would love to see Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese playing together representing and unifying our country. I hope Angel Reese will someday be a true role model for young women everywhere. Until then I will root for her growth.
She is a cherished daughter of God.
