Point of clarification please. Did the actual check get sent from your bank?
Or was that just the claim made by the scammer?
Most of these make false claims leading up the the fear trigger to get people to send money.
A lady in my stake sent 12K and was about to send another 50K until her husband caught wind and fortunately saved them from losing another 50K in a bank "related" scam.
