Could also say, " BYU four missed 3's and a FT away from embarrassing defeat"
...what's the point of framing things in such a negative way? BYU "could've" done a lot of things in that game that technically wouldn't be false but are they really representing what happened?

"BYU narrowly avoids starting a nuclear war"...technically true, we were the launching of one nuclear missile away from doing that.

"BYU narrowly avoids starting a new pandemic more devastating than covid" ...also technically true, we were the leaking of one deadly virus away from doing that.

We dominated TCU In the 2nd half 58-29 and won going away. The game wasn't In question for several minutes. The point spread on the game was BYU and 6.5 pts and we covered that and then some in the 12 pt win.

It was a very intellectually dishonest way to report what happened.
