Jordan Cameron was a BYU basketball player in 2006-2007. While home in Southern California during the offseason, he did a few workouts with his little brother in front of some football coaches (his little bro was a QB trying to get some attention). Pete Carroll, who was among the coaches, reportedly told Cameron that if he transferred to the USC football team, he (Carroll) would turn him into an NFL tight end.
Well, he did... and he did. Cameron transferred to USC where he played tight end, and eventually he was drafted by the Cleveland Browns.
His sister Brynn also had a fruitful career as an athlete at USC... but that's another story.
Fun fact: Jordan Cameron has two children with, and is currently married to, Elin Nordegren, the Swedish supermodel who beat the crap out of Tiger Woods.
